2024 has been a momentous year for ScienceLogic. In May, we launched our vision of Autonomic IT, which combines data, AI, and automation to create a fully autonomous state of IT operations. We followed that up in July with the introduction of Skylar AI, a suite of services that empower organizations to automate ITOps processes, reach AIOps maturity, and make more accurate and data-driven decisions.
A lot of hard work went into the creation of these solutions. That’s why we’re thrilled to have our team’s efforts recognized by the Northern Virginia Technology Council, which just named ScienceLogic to its NVTC Tech100 list.
Recognizing ScienceLogic’s Innovation
Every year, the NVTC Tech100 “honors the top companies and leaders in the Greater Washington area.” It’s a prestigious and highly competitive award that is given only to the region’s most innovative companies and individuals—which makes ScienceLogic’s recognition truly gratifying.
We made the list based not on a single accomplishment, but on the culmination of several major product launches and updates to our ScienceLogic AI Platform. The platform uses intelligent oversight to transform raw data into actionable intelligence. It provides visibility across multi-cloud and distributed architectures and contextualizes data through relationship mapping, giving teams unparalleled insight into their IT environments. And it delivers compliance-focused network automation and configuration management, enabling organizations to maximize resources, security and compliance through automation.
Skylar AI further augments the platform by bringing together advanced AI, machine learning, and automation into a comprehensive suite of services that transform how organizations manage, monitor, and optimize their IT infrastructure. With Skylar AI, IT teams can focus on innovation and driving value for their organizations.
Skylar AI currently includes Skylar Automated RCA and will soon feature Skylar Analytics and Skylar Advisor. Skylar Automated RCA analyzes vast volumes of log data in real-time, allowing teams to diagnose issues up to ten times faster than traditional monitoring methods. The solution automates troubleshooting tasks and alleviates the need to spend time on routine operational tasks. Skylar Analytics will enable deep data exploration, visualization, and predictive capabilities to enhance IT operations and facilitate informed, data-driven decisions. Meanwhile, Skylar Advisor, will deliver proactive, context-aware recommendations so that IT teams can anticipate issues before they impact operations.

Crucially, the ScienceLogic AI Platform and Skylar AI are essential for enabling Autonomic IT.
Autonomic IT is an advanced approach to IT operations that leverages artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and automation to create self-managing, self-healing, and self-optimizing IT environments. It involves five stages—progressing from siloed IT monitoring, to coordinated IT, machine-assisted IT, AI-advised IT, and, finally, Autonomic IT—all designed to progressively help businesses transition to a completely autonomous IT monitoring and management.
Additional 2024 Award Wins
Being named to the NVTC Tech100 is just the latest accolade given to our team. Earlier this year, ScienceLogic was named a CRN Cloud 100 Company for the fifth consecutive year. We also won the “Best AIOps Platform” award in the seventh annual AI Breakthrough Awards, which highlight the world’s most innovative AI companies, technologies, and products. Finally, ScienceLogic was awarded the TrustRadius Tech Cares Award for the second consecutive year for our deep and ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, volunteering, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the well-being of our employees and their communities.
We’re ending 2024 on a high note, but that doesn’t mean we’re taking a break. We’ve got many more innovations and exciting product launches to come in 2025, including the availability of Skylar Analytics and Skylar Advisor. We cannot wait to share them with you.
