What you’ll be doing...

In this role, you will collaborate with our customers and ScienceLogic teams to deploy and operate ScienceLogic solutions as well as help automate and streamline customer’s operations and processes.  No two days will be the same in the life here at ScienceLogic, but here is a sneak peek into some of your daily responsibilities at the ScienceLogic Center of Excellence:

  • Enable customers to learn, maintain and operate ScienceLogic platform in complex environments
  • Innovate and develop processes for successful management of ScienceLogic platform in customer environments.
  • Assist Pre-Sales team with Proof-of-Concepts
  • Build out a python script to help close a gap in a proof-of-concept or to automate a customer’s workflow
  • Create documentation of Procedures, Systems design and architectures.
  • Participate in customer escalations and resolve customer issues
  • Perform Daily/Weekly/Monthly Operational Tasks as defined by Management.

Qualities you possess...

  • 4-6 years of experience in System Administration and/or NOC Administration.
  • Experience creating and maintaining monitoring systems for 24x7 production environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Linux commands and overall Linux administration experience.
  • Experience with MySQL or similar Relational Database architectures.
  • Experience scripting the automation of key functions, preferably using Bash and/or Python
  • Must have experience in ScienceLogic or similar tools in ITOM space
  • Must have implemented solutions in Windows, Linux, Virtualization and Cloud monitoring
  • 20-40% travel will be required
