What are IT operations analytics?

IT operations analytics involves the collection and analysis of machine data from a network’s configuration items—servers, applications, IoT, end points, storage, sensors, meters and anything else connected to the network—to understand the health of a network and produce insights for improving IT operations.

Why are IT operations analytics important?

Insights derived from IT operations analytics can be applied to improve service reliability, achieve greater operational efficiency, facilitate faster incident response and repair, and to inform better decision making by an organization’s leaders.
