Hi, I’m Frank Sun.
Q: What are your primary areas of responsibility at ScienceLogic?
A: I am a Product Manager at ScienceLogic. The areas that I’m responsible for are the integration service platform, as well as our ServiceNow synchronization PowerPacks.
My part in Symposium 2020 Virtual is that I’ll be demoing and answering questions about SL1 at the Logician’s Corner—which is a great place to see the SL1 platform in action, have your questions answered, and talk to ScienceLogic engineers and product experts like myself.
I’ll show you how SL1 can provide you with accurate and context-rich data in real-time that feeds into the CMDB—eliminating the steps typically required to populate and manually reconcile the CMDB, in turn enabling automation of IT service management processes such as incident, problem, and change management.
Q: Are there any updates to the integration service platform for 2020?
A: There are updates to the integration platform. At Symposium 2019, we introduced the Automation Builder, where you could take these individual building block steps and chain them together to build an application.
In 2020, we’re giving you much more flexibility in how to build your applications as well as transformative steps to build advanced workflows.
Q: Symposium 2020 is a virtual event this year. What can we expect?
A: Even though it’s a virtual event, you can still expect the same great technical content, as well as major product roadmap announcements, keynotes, and breakout sessions.
So, make sure to attend Symposium 2020 Virtual. Visit my booth where I’ll be happy to show you exactly how to get the most out of your ServiceNow CMDB and how you can use the integration service platform to build advanced workflows to help you automate your day-to-day activities.
I look forward to seeing you online at Symposium 2020!
