Accelerate AIOps with Hollywood’s Human-Friendly AI Insights

AI has emerged as a major inflection point in the technology industry, driving providers to rush to introduce AI-enhanced products and services. The remarkable momentum surrounding AI, fueled by its perceived value and excitement, is evident, with businesses reporting an average return on investment of 3.5 times or 250%, according to IDC.

Consequently, it comes as no surprise that IDC anticipates a shift in IT spending toward AI. By 2025, it’s anticipated that AI will account for up to 40% of core IT expenditures.

One area where AI promises to transform IT operations is AIOps. AIOps provides comprehensive visibility into IT environments, facilitates quicker anomaly and root cause analysis, and supports automated response and remediation. However, many organizations face challenges in unlocking the power of AIOps, primarily due to the fragmented and complex nature of existing solutions.

The Hollywood release, SL1’s latest update, addresses these challenges and limitations by bringing human-friendly AI insights and analysis to IT operations, including easy-to-understand summarization of problem and root causes that enable all IT staff to act fast.

Fully Native AI/ML Events Insights and Analysis

As part of this release, we’ve expanded SL1 functionality to provide the most complete, end-to-end AIOps experience – integrating advanced AI while simplifying the troubleshooting experience and linking visibility, insight, and action.

The experience starts with SL1’s enhanced human-friendly dashboard which seamlessly coalesces all the information that could impact a user facing business service – events, changes, service tickets and AI-generated root cause reports, via a single interface. Alerts can be easily organized, filtered, and searched and event policies applied to them, delivering easy-to-find AI insights and simplifying how they’re used to prioritize response efforts, particularly in complex and large IT environments.

Additionally, Hollywood summarizes and explains AI/ML findings, using natural language explanations, plain English descriptions of each event, and a summary of affected software and infrastructure components. This valuable information is surfaced directly within the UI, providing users with a rich set of critical data, including:

  • Summary analysis: Human-friendly explanation of the issue for quick understanding and action, even by generalists.
  • Key log events in chronological order: An easily traceable time series of related device events.
  • A visualization of all affected software processes and infrastructure components
  • A word cloud highlighting keywords from the events: Detailed word clouds highlight key words (based on rareness and severity) to help IT operators quickly zero in on themes .
  • Event tracking: Hyperlinks to detail how an event affected specific devices.

After identifying the root cause of issues, Hollywood also gives teams the option to approve, modify or reject the root cause report, and assign appropriate automated resolution workflows (or even create new ones). From there, resolving similar issues can full be fully automated, reducing the need for human intervention going forward.

Accelerate AIOps Adoption for Better IT Operations
