ScienceLogic, the provider of next generation IT monitoring software, today announced the opening of a new office in Singapore that will cover the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The expansion follows the opening of the Sydney, Australia office last year, which covers the Asia-Pacific region. Since the inception of the Australia office, Asia-Pacific sales have grown to 10 percent of global sales and further growth is projected with the establishment of the ASEAN office.
“The ASEAN region is a critical part of the global economy with businesses expanding their presence almost daily,” said David Link, CEO ScienceLogic. “Cloud computing and data centers in particular are experiencing tremendous growth in Singapore and the surrounding area. Opening an office in the region aligns with our strategy to globally support enterprises, service providers, and government agencies with next generation IT monitoring.”
“The recent launch of our hybrid IT dependency mapping technology, which provides unprecedented visibility into Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure, has been well received in the region. We hear over and over again that IT needs a single source of truth to provide visibility into every aspect of the IT stack, on- and off-premise. ScienceLogic does that better than anyone else in the market and we’re eager to expand our reach in ASEAN,” said Simon Horrocks, Vice President of Asia-Pacific.
Mr. Alan Woo, CTO of NewMedia Express in Singapore and the latest ScienceLogic ASEAN customer, adds “we needed a monitoring tool that would enable our team to make more educated decisions about our infrastructure. ScienceLogic’s scale, automation, and true multi-tenancy were key selection criteria for us. It was also important that our partner have a local presence so ScienceLogic was an obvious choice.”
