What we’re looking for…

ScienceLogic is looking for a Regional Sales Director to join their established sales organization.  You’ll work directly with some of the technology industry’s most innovative and well-known Global System Integrators (GSI’s) to help their customers with industry leading AiOPS, Hybrid Cloud Monitoring and Automation capabilities for their IT infrastructure.  You will work in concert with peers in other geographies to expand our business with assigned GSI/ITO’s while facilitating joint deal pursuit between ScienceLogic field sales and GSI client teams.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Responsible for quarterly quota attainment with consistency across reports
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and performance managing employees
  • Maintain all records, contact information, opportunities, and activities in SFDC for the target region
  • Evangelize ScienceLogic offerings through roundtables, networking, conferences, social media, and other methods working in tandem with marketing
  • Participate with other regional sales directors and VPs on global account coordination teams focused on Fortune 1000 Enterprise Businesses
  • Run and participate in weekly calls, monthly 1:1 territory session and quarterly QBR’s
  • Develop detailed understanding of partner organizations and build rapport with partner senior leadership up to and including C-level
  • Manage GSI/ITO sales pipeline and forecast from lead identification to close as well as KPI's that measure influence, average deal size, time-to-close, etc.


Qualities you possess…

  • Demonstrated experience developing and exceeding region-specific account plans, quotas, and targets (collaboratively with the executive team)
  • Experience educating teams on technology specific requirements, needs, and company performance in these technologies
  • 10 years successful hands-on experience managing alliance relationships between IT Operations Tools ISVs and Global Systems Integrators and global scale MSPs
  • Experience and relationships with VP and C Level executives across GSI partners
  • Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to provide strategic guidance and leadership to a team of Account Executives while working closely with sales engineers in a continuously changing team environment
  • Experience in sales policy development and implementation, as well as maintenance of developmental guidelines
